Every place has to have a reason.
Why is this centre here? What is its purpose? Who may want to come here? What would wow them? What would keep them coming back? When we assess a centre to see if we can bring it back to life, improve it, expand it or in some way make it deliver more for the visitors, the retailers and the owners, these are the questions we ask.
If we can find no reason for a place to exist, no reason for people to make the journey, we walk away.
We only undertake projects where we are confident that we can add some magic to a place and give visitors what they want.
