The £75million Met Quarter on Victoria Street, due to open February
next year, has announced more of its flagship tenants ‘ a diverse
mix of independent and prestige retailers, many of which will be available
for the first time in Liverpool. Joining Armani, Flannels and Hugo Boss
will be: All Saints, eschewing catwalk copycats for edgy and elegant men’s
and women’s fashions.
Animal: conceived by two surfers with a focus on snowboarding,
mountain biking and surfing.
Aspecto: Independent fashion and footwear retail chain
that sells the finest urban brands.
Bailey: Unique menswear concept and the brand’s
first store outside London.
Cafouge: delicious food, great wines and a real ambience.
Costa Coffee: specialist Italian coffee from Italian
brothers Sergio and Bruno Costa.
Coast: niche brand with beautifully-designed female
clothing for special occasions.
Hobbs: high-quality, stylish clothes, shoes and accessories
that are quintessentially English.
Mikey: jewellery for pop stars, party girls and professional
women.
Timberland: timeless all-weather, all-terrain gear with
world-renowned rugged craftsmanship.
Sassoon Studio: innovative and high-quality salon at
the cutting edge.
Whistles: high-fashion seasonal collections and wardrobe

The Quarter itself will feature a very simple space behind the Old Post
Office face with a 75-metre metal ceiling ‘ one of the largest suspended
sculptures in the world ‘ as well as bespoke seating and furnishings
and lanterns. This autumn Milligan will engage students from regional
